A big responsibility many kids have is a pet. The thrill of bringing home your new pet can be short-lived a few days later when they’ve made a mess all over the living room that you’re now expected to clean up! Pets can be good practice for bigger responsibilities. So the next time you’re asked to clean up after your pet, doing so with a good attitude will speak volumes to your parents in how responsible you really are.
